Q. When will the ticket sales open?

Spring 2025 edition’s Tickets will go on sale in the end of January 2025. You will find the updates on our social media and on our website.

Q. My payment didn’t work, how can I fix it?

Make sure you have activated online payments and international payments with your card provider. If the issue persists, please contact us.

Q. Do I have to book the dinner and/or breakfast buffet for my meal?

No. You don’t have to if you don’t want to. There are other restaurants and also there is a fast lane where you can buy meals such as sandwich, salad, and ready meal too. And the prices are cheaper than the buffet.

Q. Can I make a name change or transfer my ticket to someone else if I fail to join the event?

Yes! You can transfer your ticket up until the day of departure. A ticket transfer fee applies based on the timing of your request:

More than 21 days before departure: Free

7–21 days before departure: 200 SEK

Within 7 days of departure: 400 SEK

For name changes made more than 21 days before departure, you can update the details online. Simply go to your order page (linked in your confirmation email), click “Change details,” and update all passenger information to reflect the new person. Once saved, a new ticket will be generated and sent via email.

Q. How does the payment system works onboard? Can I pay in any currency?

Onboard the cruise ship, you can make payments in stores and restaurants using a credit or debit card or cash (EUR only). Please note that bars do not accept cash—card payments are required.

All onboard prices are listed in EUR.

Q. Will I have internet? Is there any free Wi-Fi onboard?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas of the cruise ship on decks 6, 7, and 10. While there is internet coverage for most of the journey, some areas may have limited connectivity. You can log in using the details provided on your boarding pass.

Q. When does the check in begin? When should I arrive at the harbor in Stockholm?

Check-in for the cruise at Värtaterminalen opens at 13:30 and closes at 16:00. Please do not arrive at the last minute! Detailed check-in instructions will be provided in our Survival Guide.

Q. Can I buy tickets for someone else?

Absolutely, you can purchase tickets for up to 4 people in one order (depending on cabin type – max 1 entire cabin per order). You will need to provide some personal information (such as their name, birthdate and ID details) for all persons you are booking for, so please have that ready. If you are a bigger group, please divide up your group based on who should be in which cabin, and make a separate booking for every cabin. We can unfortunately not guarantee your cabins will be located close to each other.

Q. I’d like to join the Moose Cruise solo and I am happy to share a cabin to reduce costs. Who will I be sharing the cabin with?

We try to make our event affordable and accessible for individual participants. When you book, you’ll be assigned to a cabin of your chosen type, shared with other participants based on your specified gender preferences.

    • Mixed-Gender Cabins: If you select this option, your cabin may include participants of any gender.
    • Same-Gender Cabins: If you do not select the mixed-gender option during booking, we’ll ensure your cabin is shared only with participants of the same gender.

Q. Is Erasmoose Cruise primarily a party cruise?

While student cruises are known for its vibrant and lively atmosphere, it’s more than just a party cruise. Tailored for both international and local students, it offers exciting theme parties at night, but also includes a variety of other activities. You can expect games, sightseeing tours in Stockholm and Tallinn, challenges, and social events. Additionally, the cruise offers entertainment, food, shopping, and a sauna/spa on board, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Q. What measures are in place to ensure safety onboard?

The safety of everyone onboard is a top priority for the Erasmoose Cruise organizers and volunteers. Through our RPC (Responsible Party Crew), we ensure a secure environment by having trained volunteers stationed around the ship during the evening events, along with security and medical personnel provided by Tallink Silja, our cruise operator.

Additionally, our organizers and coordinators will walk around the ship most of the evening to ensure everything is in order.

If you have any concerns or need assistance, feel free to approach any of our volunteers or staff members!

Q. How does the payment system works onboard? Can I pay in any currency?

Q. Do I have to buy water onboard or is the water drinkable onboard the ship?

No, you don’t have to buy water if you are ok with drinking the tap water.
The ship provides a high-quality fresh water supply, and the water from any tap is safe to drink. Additionally, as part of the Drink More Water project, we will offer free water outside the main venues during the evening activities.

Q. Will I have internet? Is there any free Wi-Fi onboard?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas of the cruise ship on decks 6, 7, and 10. While there is internet coverage for most of the journey, some areas may have limited connectivity. You can log in using the details provided on your boarding pass.

Q. Do I have to bring my own towels?

No, you don’t need to bring your own towels or bed linen. Everyone is provided with towels and bedlinen onboard the cruise.

Q. Is there any smoking area onboard?

There are dedicated smoking areas onboard the ship and clearly marked. Smoking is strictly forbidden in cabins and public areas of the ship and harbor. So please use the dedicated areas.

Q. Is there any restaurants and cafeteria onboard for quick meal?

For a quick meal you can always use the Fast Lane (open 24 hours). The ship has several restaurants onboard the ship. Best option would be to book the buffet beforehand or otherwise to eat in Grill House restaurant (Price range 25-35 Euro). 

Q. Is there any supermarket onboard?

Yes, there is a duty free supermarket where you can buy tax free items (e.g. Chocolate, Alcohol, Snacks, Clothing, Gifts etc.)

Q. Is there any sundeck or outdoor area on the ship?

Yes, on deck 6 and deck 10 there are outdoor areas to enjoy the sea view. Please note that these areas may be closed off during rough weather.

The harbor we will be departing from is in Stockholm.

The terminal is within walking distance from Gärdet Metro Station (Red line 13 to Ropsten). Signposts will guide you from the station to the terminal.

    • From T-centralen Metro Station, the journey (including walking) takes about 20 minutes, with metro departures every 10 minutes.

The check-in counters are all at the harbor.

Q. When does the ship depart from Stockholm?

Boarding begins at 16:00 (Swedish time) and the ship departs shortly afterwards. Please be at the harbor by 14:00 to finish check-in so that you can board as soon as the boarding begins.

Q. When does the ship arrive in Tallinn?

We will reach Tallinn at 9:45 (Swedish time) and 10:45 (Estonian time). 

Q. When will the ship depart from Tallinn?

Boarding in Tallinn closes at 16:30 (Swedish time) / 17:30 (Estonian time). The ship departs shortly after.
Important: Ensure you board on time, allowing for a margin. Double-check your watch/phone’s time zone. The ship will not wait, and ESN Sea Battle is not responsible for arranging return travel if you miss boarding.

Q. Where is the harbor in Tallinn, and how do I get to/from the city?

The terminal is within walking distance of Tallinn’s city center. Alternatively, you can use bus lines 20 and 20A, which depart directly outside the terminal and go to/from the city center.

Q. When does the ship arrive back in Stockholm?

Arrival in Stockholm is scheduled for 10:30 (Swedish time).

Q. Will there be any transportation provided from my destination to the harbor? 

We don’t provide any direct transport service to and from Stockholm or the harbor. However, there are local associations who can arrange group transport if the demand raises. We are available to help out with right providers in that case.

Q. My order status is “Pending”, what should I do?

Your order has not yet been paid in full. This is usually due a failed payment. Please go to your order page (find the link in the “Order placed” email), and attempt the payment again. If the issue persists, please contact us.

Q. Can I buy the ticket at a physical location?

To avoid unnecessary cost and keep the organisation manageable for a student-organised event, we exclusively sell tickets online, here on our website.

Q. I am not 18 years old yet but will turn 18 before the event, would it be possible for me to buy tickets now?

Of course, you just have to be 18 years old at the time of the event.

Q. I did not get a confirmation email, what should I do?

Please double check that the email is not in your spam folder. If you still can’t find it, you might have typed your email address incorrectly. Please contact us, and we can update the email address of your order. For Konungr Cabin [2-person], only the lead booker will receive a confirmation email. For all other ticket types, the confirmation email is sent to all attendees in the order.

Q. My ID will expired or will expire before the cruise. However, I will receive a new ID before the cruise starts. Can I still buy a ticket now?

Yes, just remember to keep in mind delivery times of your ID, as a valid ID is required for travel. Please inform us of your new ID details as soon as you receive your new ID.

Q. What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all common credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX etc).

Q. What kind of cabins are available?

In Erasmoose cruise we will have the following cabins available, 

Economy inside cabin (no window) – 4, 2, and 1 person cabin

Standard inside cabin (no window) – 4, 3, 2, and 1 person cabin

Standard sea view cabin (with window) – 4, 3, 2, and 1 person cabin

Premium sea view cabin (with window and large bed) – 2 or 1 person cabin

Prices of your ticket varies depending on how many people you sare a cabin with. You can read more about the cabins here.

Q. How many beds are in a four persons cabin?

There are four single beds and bunk beds in a four persons’  cabin

Q. How can me and my friends share a cabin if we book separate and different times?

If you book separately then try to book the same type of cabin. When you book all your tickets in a single order, we will automatically assign you to the same cabin.

If your tickets are booked across multiple orders, please use the Cabin Assignment form to request that we assign you together. A link to this form can be found in your confirmation email. Be sure to carefully read the instructions before completing the form.

Q. If we are three friends and booked a 4 persons cabin, will there be a 4th person in our cabin?

If you are 3 people and book the 4 persons cabin then there will be 4th person in your cabin. However, you can always book a 3 persons cabin if you don’t prefer to share with anyone random. That goes the same for 2 people. 

Q. I just want to be in the same cabin as my friend, but we booked a 4 persons cabin individually, how do we select cabins for us?

It is a similar situation as the previous question. You can select the same cabin during cabin assignment as long as you book the same cabin type. There are always options to book two persons cabin to have more private room.

Q. Is it possible for me to bring a friend since the cabin has two beds if I book a [1-person] cabin ticket?

For an additional fees yes you can bring a 2nd person. However, you have to contact us to add the second person as passenger and get their ticket after adjusting their ticket fees.

Q. I’d like to join the Moose Cruise solo and I am happy to share a cabin to reduce costs. Who will I be sharing the cabin with?

Q. I made a booking a while ago, and now my friend would like to join. Is it possible for us to stay together in the same cabin?

Certainly! As long as your cabin isn’t already at full capacity, this is absolutely possible.

If there are available spots in your current cabin, simply use the Cabin Assignment form once your friend has booked a ticket for the same cabin type. You’ll find a link to the form in your confirmation email. Please ensure you read through the instructions carefully before completing it. If you or someone in your cabin has already submitted the form, don’t worry – we’ll assign you based on the most recent entry containing your names.

If your cabin type (2- or 3-person) is full, we can help you switch to a larger cabin, provided there’s availability. Please get in touch with us and describe your request.

If your group has grown to more than 4 people, you will need to split into multiple cabins.

Q. We’re a larger group and have booked multiple cabins. Can you place our cabins next to each other?

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible.

Q. I’d like to change to a different cabin type. Is that possible?

Yes, you can switch to another cabin type as long as it’s still available for sale.

If you choose a cabin with a higher ticket price, you’ll need to pay the difference.
If you switch to a cabin with the same or lower ticket price, no additional payment is required, but please note that any price difference will not be refunded.

The same policy applies when upgrading from a 3-person cabin to a 4-person cabin of the same type, for example.

To request a cabin change, simply send us an email. If multiple people in your group need to make changes, please note that requests can only apply to tickets in your own order. For changes to tickets from other orders (i.e., with different order codes), we will need the request to come from the ticket holder of that specific order.

Q. How does the refund works?

We offer ticket refunds up to 14 days before the departure date. A cancellation fee will apply based on the timing of your request:

More than 60 days before departure: 10% of the ticket price

30–59 days before departure: 25% of the ticket price

14–29 days before departure: 40% of the ticket price

Within 14 days of departure: No refund available

These terms also apply to cancellations of individually booked add-ons.

Alternatively, you can transfer your ticket to someone else to avoid the cancellation fee. 

Q. What activities are available during the Moose Cruise?

In Erasmoose Cruise, you can enjoy a range of activities including city sightseeing, karaoke, live DJ performances, team challenges, speed friending, dance classes, and more. A detailed schedule of events for each cruise is provided in our Survival Guide, which is sent to registered participants 1-2 weeks before the event.

Only our volunteers (Organizers, Local Ambassadors, and Responsible Party crew) are allowed to take care of the activities. So if you are interested you can apply for those positions. Feel free to contact us.

Q. What happens if someone gets sea sick?

We do advice people to take sea sickness pill before the ship leaves the harbor, if they think they might get sea sick. However, if you or any of your friend gets sea sick during the event then please go to your cabin take rest and avoid alcohol.
